Tatyana Alekseevna Gulbina

was born in 1984 in the Pereyaslovka Khabarovsk region.

In 2006 she graduated from the Foreign Languages Department of Far Eastern State University of the Humanities. She was trained as a «Linguist — teacher of foreign languages and cultures,» English, and French languages.

In 2007 she graduated from Khabarovsk State Academy of Economics and Law. She was trained as a «Manager — economist in the fields of tourism and guest services».

She has lived on Kamchatka since December 2006.

In April 2007 she became an employee of the Kamchatka/Bering Sea division of the World Wildlife Fund.

In September 2009 she began working for FSI «Kronotsky Reserve» as Deputy Director of Ecological Education and Toutism.

A sea otter's fur is the most expensive in the world. Long ago, there were so many sea otters here that Kronotsky Bay was called «Beaver Sea», but in the mid-18th century they were wiped out.
