Our "Nature Protectors School" has been awarded with a communication prize.

The nature protection educational project "Nature Protectors School" was among the winners of the regional stage of the prestigious "Silver Archer – Far East" national communications award.

The experts of the award recognized our "Nature Protectors School" as top in the nomination "Promotion of state and public programs" based on the results of public project defenses.

"Silver Archer — Far East" is the prestigious competition among projects in the field of communications. It is part of the system of regional competitions of the Silver Archer National Award, one of the most authoritative and upscale PR awards in Russia.

According to the project curator Daria Filippova, the main goals of "Nature Protectors School" are to develop environmental awareness and involve as many Russians as possible in environmental initiatives. Due to that, the project actively uses work with public opinion to promote important ideas and values. The jury of the award also noted the high level of the School's work in the communication sphere.

Daria Filippova also noted: "This victory is merit of a large team, several hundred people, which includes all our organizers, partners, friends, teachers, and of course, students!"

In total, 50 applications were received for the award in the Far Eastern Federal District this year, 34 projects were admitted to the online jury's voting.

The "Nature Protectors School" is aimed at training highly qualified personnel for environmental organizations in Kamchatka, strengthening nature protection, increasing ecological culture level, involving the public in solving environmental problems.

The project started at the end of 2020. It has been implemented by Kronotsky State Reserve, the Government of the Kamchatka Territory and the Association of Specially Protected Natural Territories of the Kamchatka Territory.
