Important information!

The number of visitors per season on each ecological route is limited. Scientists calculate maximum human activity allowed on the territory to avoid disruption of natural complexes. It is the main priority of tourism in protected areas.

In May and June the number of visitors for some routes is reduced or temporarily suspended. It is necessary not to disturb animals and birds during mating season.

To preserve soil landscapes and for tourist’s safety they must move by wooden trails during some routes.

All movements on the routes are allowed only when accompanied by an armed ranger and a guide.

Excursions in our protected areas are educational: the trails are equipped with information stands and banners. Some ranger stations have visit centers and gift shops.

For those guests who have multi-day programs on our protected areas Kronotsky Nature Reserve staff, scientists and photographers offer educational lectures and presentations.
