RULES AND CONDITIONS FOR USING PILOTLESS FLYING OBJECTS AT SPECIFICALLY PROTECTED NATURE AREAS
- Video recording using a pilotless flying object (further – drone) is possible only after receiving a permission in writing to conduct aero video recording. Such a permission is issued by vicepresident of the security – the manager of the security service of the nature reserves.
- Using a drone is only possible under supervision and surveillance of a staff member of the security service of the nature reserves. The operator of a drone must strictly follow instructions and requirements of the staff member of the security service of the nature reserves.
- A minimum distance from the airborne drone to a closest wild animal must be at least 50 m, the altitude of the airborne drone must be at least 50 m.
- Should an animal show signs of fright or disturbance, the distance must be increased to at least 80-100 meter. Alternatively, recording may be aborted by a decision of the staff member of the security service of the nature reserves.
- A possibility to use a drone for video recording of a specific animal (a specific group of animals) is assessed by the staff member of the security service of the nature reserves depending on the current situation.
- Take-off and landing of a drone are allowed at a location specified by the accompanying staff member of the security service of the nature reserves.
